Western Bulldogs defender Jason Johannisen will miss some time after suffering an ankle injury at training.
The 2016 Norm Smith Medallist left the VU Whitten Oval track early after sustaining the injury in a tackle.
He is set to be assessed in the coming days to determine the severity of the ankle issue.
Johannisen played all 22 games in 2018, averaging 21 disposals and four marks per game.
