Socceroos defender Josh Risdon is set to ink a multi-year deal with new A-League outfit Western Melbourne.
Risdon is currently playing at Western Sydney but is unlikely to suit up for the Wanderers next season.
It is believed the 26-year-old has had advanced talks with Western Melbourne, and is likely to seal a deal with the club in the next couple of days.
Previous speculation suggested that Risdon was poised for a move to Europe after impressing at the World Cup.
If he does depart Western Sydney, it will spell trouble for coach Markus Babbel, who is looking to rebuild his side after just three wins this season.
