Port Adelaide star withdraws from AFLX

2019-02-13T10:50+11:00

Robbie Gray has pulled out of AFLX because of knee soreness.

The Port Adelaide star will not play in the competition at Marvel Stadium next Friday, withdrawing from Patrick Dangerfield’s Bolts team.

The injury will also force Gray to miss the Power’s intra-club match on Friday. The clubs says the three-time John Cahill Medallist “will be monitored ahead of the Power’s first JLT Community Series match against Adelaide early next month”.

Teammate Tom Rockliff will replace Gray in Dangerfield’s AFLX side.

Gray becomes the third player to pull out of AFLX, following Melbourne's Steven May and Hawthorn's Chad Wingard who withdrew from Eddie Betts' Deadlys outfit.
