Fremantle have announced the re-signing of forward Matthew Taberner.
Taberner, who was contracted until the end of this season, signed a two-year extension that ties him to the Dockers until at least the end of 2021.
The 25-year-old spoke of his delight at securing his long-term future at the club.
“It’s very exciting, I couldn’t be happier,” Taberner told Fremantle’s official website.
“It’s great to have Fremantle showing that faith in me and I really want to repay the club by playing some good footy.
“I’m excited about the direction the club is going in. We’ve got a great core of young to mid-tier players.
"There’s also some really valuable leaders at the top end, so I think the future is looking really bright.”
Taberner’s 2018 campaign was ruined by a foot injury that sidelined him for 13 games.
Overall, he has played 62 AFL matches and kicked 62 goals for Freo.
