2019-02-27T09:40+11:00

SEN SA Breakfast’s Kane Cornes and Andrew Hayes have forecasted their Top 8s for the 2019 season.

With less than a month ago until Round 1 kicks off, Kane and Hayesy have put together their predictions of which clubs will be playing finals this year.

Kane’s Top 8

8. Port Adelaide

“I had Geelong in eighth but I’ve done a reshuffle after listening to the Port Adelaide heavy hitters yesterday, I left there with a lot more confidence than when I entered.”

7. West Coast

“Are going to slip to number seven.”

6. Essendon

“Will play finals on the back of Dylan Shiel coming and Joe Daniher being fit.”

5. GWS Giants

“They will surprise a few this year. No Tom Scully, no Dylan Shiel, no Rory Lobb, they’ve lost some players but if they get fit they’ll be pushing for top four.”

4. Melbourne

“They’ll make the top four and win a final this year.”

3. Richmond

“They’ll have a strong year.”

2. Collingwood

“Collingwood number two.”

1. Adelaide

“Adelaide to win the flag in 2019.”
