Essendon key forward Joe Daniher is set to miss a month of footy with a strained calf, according to SEN Breakfast’s Garry Lyon.
Daniher missed the majority of the 2018 season with osteitis pubis, but played both JLT Series games.
“In some very bad news for Joe Daniher, he’s got a strained calf and will be out for four to five weeks,” Lyon said.
“It’s another big setback for him.”
The Bombers take on GWS in Round 1 at Sydney Showground Stadium.
