Majak Daw took a big step in his recovery from serious pelvic injuries at North Melbourne training today.
A video posted by the Kangaroos captured the defender’s teammates giving him a rousing reception as he began running on the anti-gravity treadmill.
Daw, 28, sustained the injury in an incident at the Bolte Bridge last December, but is making good progress as he looks to resume his AFL career.
"So something pretty amazing happened today ... I’m so thankful for all the support that’s got me to this stage," Daw said.
The video received several positives responses on Twitter, with rival clubs showing their support for the injured Roo.
Daw has played 50 games for North and had a career-best 2018 season in his new defensive position.
