Zion Williamson returns to Duke with crazy dunk

2019-03-15T13:34+11:00

Likely NBA number one draft pick Zion Williamson has returned to Duke after suffering a knee injury a few weeks ago and he’s already back to his dominant best.

Williamson suffered a knee sprain when his Nike shoe exploded in the opening minutes of a match.

Many wondered whether we’d see Zion again with experts suggesting he should sit out the remainder of the college year, given he’ll be the number one pick in the NBA draft regardless.

However, Williamson always wanted to return to Duke and looks already back to his terrifying best, scoring 21 points, picking up nine rebounds and five steals in the first half against Syracuse.

Of course, there were also a couple of massive dunks, which have become the trademark of the 201cm, 130kg small forward.

The race for Zion is heating up thanks to the NBA’s new draft lottery odds.

The three teams with the worst records will all have a 14 per cent change at the number one draft pick. Currently, the New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers seem likely to have the best chance at Williamson.

The Bulls (12.5 per cent), Hawks (10.5), Mavericks (9) and Grizzlies (7.5) have the next best chances at pick one.

The Los Angeles Lakers currently have a 1.5 per cent chance at landing Zion.
