Plough's AFL snapshot: Port Adelaide, Richmond and St Kilda

2019-03-16T12:04+11:00

Australian football Hall of Famer Terry Wallace has run his eye over all 18 teams’ performances in the JLT Series and come up with a snapshot to break down where they’re at.

Wallace spoke to SEN Afternoons on Tuesday to go through the teams.

Here’s what he said about Port Adelaide, Richmond and St Kilda.

Port Adelaide

JLT Performance: 1-1, 101.92%

“They look to have a solid team who should be aiming for the top eight.”

“I called them flaky only a few weeks ago and I think they have been flaky in the past.”

“I’ve been pretty happy with the way they’re going about things with a few of their youngsters.”

“I thought the best player on the weekend, of all the teams, was Tom Rockliff. I thought he was the best player of the weekend.”

“I just think they’ve got enough there, if they can get it together, they should be really competitive.”

“They took it up to Adelaide. Adelaide controlled the game, but they should be around the mark, Port.”

Richmond

JLT Performance: 2-0, 110.64%

“Horrible early in both games and they need to fix that, but they’re very experienced.”

“They were 70 points down if you combine the first halves of both games and they won both.”

St Kilda

JLT Performance: 2-0, 125%

“Injuries to key players is the worry and I think it’ll take its toll.”

“They look organised and look like they’re going about it pretty reasonably, but I just think it’s going to catch up with them.”

“Dylan Roberton now, it’s just such a shame.”
