Additonally, the chief executive officer of Drinkwise, Simon Strahan, commented on the situation.
"DrinkWise partners with the AFL in an effort to promote responsible attitudes and behaviours towards alcohol consumption. The overwhelming majority of the crowd understand if they are having a drink that moderation is the expected behaviour," Strahan told SEN.com.au.
"We don’t want the experience of the 85,000 fans at the ground last night ruined by the actions of a few individuals.
"The DrinkWise Score Review, messages on the scoreboard and in the Record serve as a reminder for fans choosing to have a drink, to do so responsibly."
