West Coast Eagles forward Liam Ryan has been reported for striking Brisbane defender Darcy Gardiner.
The incident occurred in the last 20 seconds of the match, where a 50-metre penalty was reversed because Ryan jumper-punched the Brisbane defender.
The incident made the Eagles’ shock 44-point loss a little worse.
Ryan, 22, kicked one goal to go with his eight disposals and six tackles at the Gabba.
