North Melbourne has confirmed that Ed Vickers-Willis has ruptured his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
The young defender suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Kangaroos’ Round 1 loss to Fremantle at Optus Stadium yesterday.
It was his first game back from a PCL injury he sustained after running into a goal post in round seven against Sydney last year.
Vickers-Willis, 22, has played 15 games since he was drafted to the Roos with pick No.36 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft.
