Richmond forward Josh Caddy expects to shake off an ankle problem and return to football via the VFL in two weeks time.
Caddy, 26, has been on light duties after experiencing ankle soreness in February and subsequently missed both the Tigers’ JLT matches and the Round 1 win over Carlton.

“I’ve actually had a bit of bone stress in the tibia,” he told the AFL Nation pre-game show.
“I’ve had to stay off legs for a couple of weeks and therefore I’ve had to slowly ramp things back up again because I didn’t run for a few weeks.
“I’m back running around at training now but it’s just a matter of ticking all the boxes, so I don’t come back and do a hamstring or anything like that.
“I’m hoping to play the week of Round 3 and it will probably be at VFL level.”
Caddy was selected in the initial All-Australian squad of 40 after kicking 46 goals in 2018.
