North Melbourne coach Brad Scott insists the club is still working hard, despite beginning the season with a 0-3 record.
When addressed about the winless start, Scott appeared frustrated, but insisted the Kangaroos are aiming to rectify the issues.
"Yeah, I'm aware of that (the club's record)," he said.
"What do you want me to say?
"You drum it up, mate, but we've just got to hang in there.
"We've got some things we'd like to straighten out, but those things will straighten themselves out if we continue to work really hard on it."
Scott also has selection issues on his hand, with Jed Anderson, Sam Wright and Tom Murphy banging on the door.

"There is a lot that goes into selection," the Kangaroos coach said.
"Do you want me to put someone's head on a platter for you?
"I'm not going to do that.
"You can keep asking, but I'm not going to do that.
"Mate, we'll name our team every week and you can read about it."
The Kangaroos face the Crows on Saturday at Marvel Stadium.
