Exciting two-year-old Chenier will have to wait for a crack at Group 1 glory, with trainer Anthony Freedman revealing the colt will bypass Saturday's Champagne Stakes at Randwick.
Chenier will be sent to the paddock, with the G1 Caulfield Guineas the main aim during the spring.
The son of Medaglia d'Oro created a huge impression at Sandown on March 20 when winning by five-and-a-half lengths over 1300m on debut, before running second over 1400m last week.
"That is really good!"

We agree, Chenier spaces them and salutes on debut! @FreedmanRacing @BMelham @godolphin pic.twitter.com/M7gtSaSvzQ
Following his debut win, Freedman said: "I think he's very good, potentially, but they've got to keep going the right way."
Chenier is out of the Zabeel mare Zydeco, which won the Wakeful Stakes and placed in the Thousand Guineas and VRC Oaks in 2012.
