Essendon spearhead Joe Daniher will return this weekend via the VFL, according to SEN Time On host Sam McClure.
Daniher, 25, will play in Saturday morning’s VFL match against North Melbourne at Werribee in his first match since being struck down by a groin injury early in 2018.
The forward hasn’t played an AFL match since Round 7 last year after being diagnosed with osteitis pubis, before receiving a kick to the calf in training prior to Round 1.

Essendon opted to take the conservative route with Daniher, after he completed a full training session on Tuesday under the watchful eye of coach John Worsfold
After kicking over 100 points in their back-to-back wins, the Dons will look to continue their good form against North Melbourne in the Good Friday clash at Marvel Stadium.
