Essendon has dealt a second blow to North Melbourne in the VFL, smashing them by 94 points today at Avalon Airport Oval.
The Bombers put 20 goals passed the Roos, Jayden Laverde booting six himself, while Aaron Francis picked up 17 disposals down back.
This comes less than 24 hours after the respective AFL sides battled on Good Friday, Essendon winning that one by 58 points.
It gets worse for the Roos, with Dom Tyson a late out with calf tightness, Nick Larkey unwell and rookie Tom Wilkinson suffering a minor ankle injury.
Nathan Hrovat picked up 28 for North, while Tristan Xerri played his first game back after osteitis pubis issues.
