Josh Kelly has revealed the reasons behind his decision to re-sign with GWS.
Kelly, 24, turned his back on a move back to Victoria and signed a fresh two-year contract extension with the Giants.
“I think above all it’s a great club to be at,” the star Giant told SEN’s Time On.
“We’ve got a great playing group, a great coaching staff, admin and just the whole club in general is a really good place to be at.
“That’s really special and I think you’ve got to be inside the four walls of the footy club to really appreciate that and know what’s going on with the culture and the relationships that you build.
“I also think we’re right in a place where we can have some success.
"The last few seasons has only made us mature as a group and developed us to a stage where hopefully we can push for a premiership this year and the years going forward."
Kelly’s new contract reportedly contains an American-style player option to extend the deal from anywhere between six and 10 further years.
