Geelong youngsters Gryan Miers and Mark O'Connor will both sign contract extensions within the next month, according to AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary.
The uncontracted Cats duo are set to be rewarded for their excellent seasons with fresh new multi-year deals.
O’Connor, 22, is yet to miss a game in 2019, successfully cementing a spot in Geelong's best 22.
Miers, 20, received the Round 8 rising star nomination for his two-goal, 22-disposal performance against North Melbourne.
The small forward has played all nine games at senior level, booting 11 goals and averaging 16.9 disposals per game.
Like O’Connor, it’s been a breakthrough season for Miers, after spending the entire 2018 campaign plying his trade in the VFL.
