In what was the best game of 2019 so far, West Coast has taken down the Crows, winning their eight game at the Adelaide Oval in their last 10 appearances.
It was a back and forth tussle in wet conditions with both teams riding momentum, but when it mattered, it was the Eagles’ stars who got the job done.
Here’s everything you need to know!
The Moment: Oscar Allen kicks the winner
There’s a reason experts like Brad Johnson are suggesting Oscar Allen could be the next big thing in the AFL.
A deft tap over the top of a contest deep inside 50 to himself allowed Allen to run into an open goal and put the Eagles six points up with two minutes left.
Jack Darling would put the nail in the coffin moments later, securing West Coast a huge win at the Adelaide Oval.

The Stars: Andrew Gaff and Luke Shuey
When it mattered, Shuey and Gaff stood up, winning vital clearances and surging the ball forward.
Adelaide’s midfield battled hard all day, but didn’t have the impact of the Eagles duo when it mattered late in the game. One must ask whether Bryce Gibbs would have helped in that regard.
Gaff and Shuey combined for over 65 disposals, 13 tackles, 11 clearances and 11 score involvements.
What’s next?
Adelaide take on Melbourne next weekend up at TIO Stadium. When the two teams met last year, the Dees smashed the Crows by 91 points in one of the most surprising results of 2018.
West Coast meanwhile host the Bulldogs at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
