North Melbourne has survived a late Bulldogs charge to send Brad Scott off on a high.
The Roos controlled the game for most of the day and played for him, kicking five goals to close out what was a high scoring contest at Marvel Stadium.
Here’s everything you need to know!
The Talking Point: Brad Scott finishes with a winning record
Brad Scott came into today with 105 wins and 105 losses as North Melbourne coach and the Roos winning in his last game gives him a positive record.
Tomorrow at midday AEST, Scott will announce his immediate departure from the club and his side lifted for him one last time.
The Bulldogs kicked five goals in a row to take the lead late in the last quarter and it seemed as though things weren’t going to go his way.
However from there, it was all North Melbourne. They answered with five goals in a row five points down to 25 up.
The Moment: Score review controversy
We are consistently told that every goal is reviewed in the time it takes for the ball to return to the middle and be bounced.
Despite that, we have seen two shots for goal that were touched in three weeks go unchecked at crucial moments.
This time around, it was a Jed Anderson bomb from outside 50 that Ben Brown seemingly got a hand on in the third quarter for the Roos.
SEN’s Time On host Sam McClure wasn’t happy.
The score review system is an absolute joke.

The AFL says it reviews every goal, but constantly miss decisions because they don’t want it taking too much time.
Either have it and use it, or just make everything the umpire’s call. #AFLDogsNorth

What’s next?
For North Melbourne, a lot is unknown. It seems Rhyce Shaw will take over as interim coach for the remainder of the season as they head in a new direction. They face Richmond next Friday night and the spotlight will well and truly be on.
As for the Dogs, they travel west to face the Eagles in what will be a huge test for them.
