Carlton is set to select former Fremantle midfielder Josh Deluca with its first pick in Monday night’s mid-season draft, according to afl.com.au.

The report states the Blues have settled on Deluca after meeting with a host of potential draftees on Wednesday.

Deluca, 23, is averaging 25.7 disposals and 5.3 tackles per game playing for WAFL side Subiaco, after playing a starring role in the club’s premiership win in 2018

He collected 29 touches and eight tackles in the Grand Final win over West Perth.

The 179cm on-baller was delisted by the Dockers after playing four games in what was his final season in 2017.
