Hawthorn captain Ben Stratton has been referred straight to the AFL Tribunal on two separate charges.
Stratton was charged with serious misconduct for repeatedly pinching Essendon forward Orazio Fantasia during Friday night’s match at Marvel Stadium.
The Hawks defender was also charged for stomping on Bombers forward Shaun McKernan during the final quarter of last night’s game.
He can also accept a $1000 fine with an early plea for making an obscene gesture during the second quarter.
Hawthorn speedster Jarman Impey can accept a $2000 sanction for striking Essendon midfielder Zach Merrett.
No charges were laid from Thursday night’s match between Adelaide and Richmond.
