West Coast premiership forward Jack Darling has declared the rumblings of a potential trade move as nothing but speculation, according to Jordan McArdle from the West Australian.
Darling has one year left on his current contract and it is believed the cashed up Western Bulldogs have been pursuing the 27-year-old.
However, Darling has reportedly said that talks to extend his contract with the Eagles are already in motion, all but ruling out a move to Victoria.
It is understood that Darling suggested the link to the Dogs is "definitely just a rumour".
Darling currently sits fourth on the Coleman medal table with 36 goals for the 2019 AFL season.
