Carlton are circling off-contract Port Adelaide small forward Sam Gray, according to AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey.
It is understood Gray is yet to be offered a contract for next season despite being the Power's second highest goalkicker this season.
The 27-year-old has 18 majors from 14 appearances and has booted multiple goals on five occasions.
He also averages 19.1 disposals and 3.9 tackles per match in an ultra-consistent campaign to date.
It’s no secret the Blues are keen on adding a small forward during the upcoming trade period to compliment the likes of Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay inside 50.
Gray has played 90 games and kicked 81 goals for Port since he was elevated from the club’s rookie list in 2014.
