Report: Dockers midfield duo will request trades to Victoria

2019-07-24T07:28+10:00

The Dockers’ midfield could take a huge hit at the end of the season, with both Brad Hill and Ed Langdon reportedly set to request trades to Victorian teams.

The Herald Sun is suggesting that Hill, who is contracted until 2021, wishes to come to Victoria, with St Kilda and Geelong the teams linked to him.

Hawthorn, where Hill started his career, are reportedly not in the picture.

AFL Nation’s Mitch Cleary reported weeks ago that Hill’s partner, who originates from Victoria, is homesick and wants to return to the state.

Langdon is out of contract at the end of 2019 and has been linked to the likes of St Kilda, Collingwood, North Melbourne, Melbourne and the Bulldogs.

Fox Footy’s Jon Ralph reported on Tuesday night that Melbourne was the frontrunner to land Langdon.

Stephen Hill is also a free agent at the end of 2019 and has been linked to a move out of Fremantle as well.
