Richmond premiership hero Shaun Grigg made his return to footy yesterday, playing for Redan in the Ballarat Football League.
The former Tiger and Blue kicked two goals in the side’s win over Ballarat.
Grigg was forced to retire prematurely back in May due to ongoing knee and hip injuries.
His retirement allowed the Tigers to make a selection in the mid-season draft, where they took Marlion Pickett out of the WAFL.
Pickett made his debut for Richmond in the VFL on the same day Grigg ran out for Redan.
Taking to Instagram, Grigg, a Ballarat native, said he fulfilled a childhood dream.
