Gone, gone, gone: Former Crow expects mass exodus

2019-08-09T10:59+10:00

Former Adelaide Crow and champion South Australian footballer Andrew Jarman is of the opinion that talk of a mass exodus of Crows players will come to fruition at season’s end.

Asked whether or not Eddie Betts, Richard Douglas, Bryce Gibbs, Hugh Greenwood, Sam Jacobs and Josh Jenkins would leave the Crows, Jarman believes all bar Gibbs will not be at the club next year.

“Josh Jenkins gone, Eddie Betts gone, (Gibbs) stay, (Douglas) gone, but God love him, (Jacobs) he’s my boy, but my heart and gut says gone, (Greenwood) gone,” Jarman revealed on SEN's The Sporting Capital.

He also dropped the bombshell where he believes the shake-up at the club will see Taylor Walker lose the captaincy heading into the 2020 AFL season.

“My footy brain says no,” Jarman answered when quizzed about Walker captaining the club next season.

The Crows will travel to Perth to face reigning premiers West Coast on Sunday with a top eight spot on the line.
