The score review officer could potentially have just made the worst mistake of the season.
When looking over a goal kicked by Brody Mihocek to see if it was touched off the boot, the initial angles were very much inconclusive.
However, the next bit of footage to appear showed a blatant touch off the boot … unfortunately, that was the wrong kick!
The kick they were looking at was Jordan Roughead’s kick that went to Mihocek.
Seemingly based on this evidence – the wrong kick – the decision of goal was overturned.
Given the other angles were very inconclusive and likely would have resulted in umpires call, this has cost Collingwood five points.
Only time will tell if that impacts the result.

UPDATE:
Understand the score reviewer had access to footage that was not shown on TV and made the call off that, not the Roughead kick.
