Collingwood has belted the Crows by 66 points at the Adelaide Oval, finding their spark heading into September.
A top eight spot was on the line for Adelaide, who not only blew it, but never looked in the same league as the Pies.
Here’s everything you need to know!
The Difference: Collingwood’s forwards run riot
Without Mason Cox, Collingwood took a small forward line in against the Crows and it worked to great effect.
Jamie Elliott played his best game in years, booting five goals and taking 10 marks, playing out of the goal square.
Travis Varcoe, Josh Thomas and Will Hoskin-Elliott all impressed and managed to hit the scoreboard, while Jordan Roughead played his role inside 50.
Adelaide was completely incapable of stopping Collingwood’s quick ball movement up the field and this made life incredibly easy for their forwards.
Jordan de Goey and a fresh Jaidyn Stephenson slotting back into the side come September will take them to another level as well.
The Moment: Howe takes a hanger
Jeremy Howe, you’ll be shocked to learn, took a huge mark this afternoon.
Check it out below.

September Implications?
The Crows would have been back in the top eight right now had they beaten Collingwood on the Adelaide Oval.
Instead, they’re not only stuck in ninth, their percentage has taken a hit and they could fall as far as 11th if results go against them.
Adelaide will have to beat the Bulldogs and hope Port lose at least one of their last two to make it from here.
As for Collingwood, they looked as good as they have in months and currently sit fourth on the ladder.
At worst, they’ll finish fifth and host a final at the MCG.
