Edmund provides big trade update on Jones, Langdon, Hill and Smith

2019-08-20T07:58+10:00

Herald Sun journalist Sam Edmund has provided updates on a host of players linked with moves in the upcoming trade period on SEN Breakfast.

Zak Jones (Sydney)

“Any interest they have had historically in, and there has been some, in Zak (Jones) has well and truly cooled.

“You won’t see Zak Jones at Melbourne next year.”

Brad Hill (Fremantle)

Brad Hill, I believe, doesn’t want to play there (Melbourne), so you can put a line through Hill joining the Melbourne Football Club.”

Ed Langdon (Fremantle)

“All their (Melbourne) energy is going towards Ed Langdon at Fremantle. My mail is Ed Langdon is definitely leaving Fremantle … I reckon Melbourne are in the absolute box seat for him.”

Isaac Smith (Hawthorn)

“Isaac Smith, a lot of noise around him, he’s contracted.”

“One of the most asked about players in the comp they reckon just because of his running power.

“No movement at the station from a Hawthorn perspective but the word is you never say never with Hawthorn … but the interest is massive.”

Jonathon Patton (GWS)

“Jonathon Patton is definitely on the move. I reckon you would say $1.01 to join the Hawks – that will happen.”
