Franklin locked in for 300th game celebration

2019-08-21T05:55+10:00

The Swans have confirmed Lance Franklin will bring up his 300th game this weekend against St Kilda.

The superstar forward successfully got through training on Tuesday and Sydney took to Twitter to make the announcement that same night.

Franklin has missed since Round 14’s clash with Hawthorn after suffering a hamstring injury.

All eyes now turn to Jarrad McVeigh, who will hopefully receive a final game before retirement.

The 34-year-old has been on the sidelines for over a month with a calf injury suffered in the NEAFL.

McVeigh trained with Franklin and the team, but will need to pull up without soreness if he is to be selected to face the Saints.
