Saints set for busy trade period

2019-08-22T10:00+10:00

St Kilda is set for a busy a trade period according to SEN Breakfast’s Sam Edmund.

Edmund provided an update on the situation at Moorabbin and believes the Saints may lose Blake Acres and Jack Newnes to rival clubs but do look set to gain Bradley Hill from Fremantle.

“Blake Acres is continually being asked about, West Australian, has a year to run on his deal but the Eagles and Dockers have been knocking,” Edmund told Garry Lyon and Tim Watson on SEN Breakfast.

“Free agent Jack Newnes is the other one and a real chance to go a lot of interest in him and he is yet to put pen to paper.

“Bradley Hill wants to get to the Saints. They’re in for a busy period down there at Moorabbin.”

Edmund also believes the interest in Harley Bennell venturing over to the Saints is too early to call just yet.

“There is also suggestion they were also into Harley Bennell but I think that talk is premature,” Edmund added.
