Victorian clubs linked with young Lion

2019-08-23T15:05+10:00

Brisbane look set to face a battle in order to keep fringe player Tom Cutler beyond 2019, according to the Herald Sun.

Victorian clubs are reportedly interested in acquiring the 24-year-old who has only managed three games this season despite a career-best year in 2018.

Cutler, 24, has battled a foot injury for much of this season, while facing stiff competition for a place in the best 22 when he has been fit, coinciding with the Lions' renaissance.

Brisbane is very interested in retaining Cutler, who is out of contract at the end of the year, but with the prospect of more consistent game time elsewhere, they may need to let the utility pursue an opportunity back in his home state.
