Carlton has reportedly pulled out of the race for Richmond’s Brandon Ellis.
AFL Media’s Mitch Cleary is reporting that the Blues have been quite interested in the midfielder for the majority of the season, but are no longer pursuing him.
The report adds that Gold Coast remains quite interested in the restricted free agent’s services, while Brisbane targeted him last year.
Ellis played 20 games for the Tigers in 2019, averaging 22 disposals per game.
Sam Edmund reported earlier today that Gold Coast’s Jack Martin wants to get to Carlton.
