Gold Coast’s Jack Martin will meet with Carlton and the Western Bulldogs this week, according to SEN Breakfast’s Sam Edmund.
Martin will sit down with the Blues tomorrow after requesting a trade from the Suns last Tuesday.
Edmund revealed the Western Australian is keen on a move to Ikon Park with Carlton not prepared to pay overs for the talented midfielder.
The 24-year-old placed 10th in the club’s best and fairest and finished on 97 games with the expansion club.
Martin was dropped for the Round 21 game against Brisbane and managed 16 games in an underwhelming 2019 campaign.
Jack Martin has flown to Melbourne for talks on his future this week with Carlton and the Western Bulldogs. He meets with Steve Silvagni and co. tomorrow. Not sure Bombers have the money to strike a trade.
