Richmond’s Dan Butler has today reportedly met with the Carlton Football Club.
The Age’s Peter Ryan has posted on Twitter that the Tigers small forward “caught up with the Blues” as he ponders the next stage of his career.

Butler has been kept out of Richmond’s senior side in 2019, playing just seven games, after he was an integral member of the club’s 2017 premiership team when kicking 30 goals in 23 matches.
He has spent much of the year in the VFL team and is believed to be seeking further opportunities elsewhere.
The 23-year-old comes out of contract at the end of this season.
The Blues have been linked with Butler in recent times and it is widely reported that they are in the hunt for a crumbing goal kicker.
