Shaun Higgins has signed a one-year contract extension at North Melbourne.
Higgins, who had a year remaining on his previous contract, will remain at Arden Street until at least the end of 2021.
The 31-year-old is almost certain to finish his career at the Kangaroos after he was linked with a move to Geelong.
Higgins, a two-time best and fairest winner and a one-time All-Australian in 2017, averaged 28.4 disposals and four clearances per game in 2019.
Since debuting in 2006, Higgins has played 220 games for both the Roos and the Western Bulldogs.
