Cleary's trade update on Brad Crouch, Sam Jacobs, Dougal Howard and veteran Hawks

2019-09-20T19:02+10:00

AFL Nation’s Mitch Cleary has provided the latest trade news on a number of the key players, heading into the trade period.

Read the latest update below:

Sam Jacobs

“Jacobs has officially informed the Crows that he wants out. He wants a two-year deal and that security and that will be at GWS next year,” Cleary told AFL Nation.

Brad Crouch

“He’s gone to the Crows and his management has started talks on a five-year deal. He wants a long-term deal beyond his contract for 2020, but his management is also at the same time is still shopping him around to teams like Gold Coast and St Kilda.”

“He wants a mega-offer and he’s still at this stage being shopped around.”

Dougal Howard

“He’s a 200cm key back, he’s been forced to play key forward this year because he was pushed out of that defence. He has interest from Essendon and North Melbourne.”

Hawthorn

“It’s decision time at the Hawks. Paul Puopolo, Ryan Shoenmakers and Grant Birchall all uncontracted still. Ricky Henderson is in that bracket, but he’s set to re-sign.”

“Potentially only Birchall (stays).”
