Adelaide star Brodie Smith has shut down any talk that he will leave the club in the upcoming trade period.
It was reported last week by Caroline Wilson that Brisbane were in talks with the defender and attempting to lure him up north.
“No, I’m not (leaving Adelaide),” Smith told SEN SA’s Kymbo and the Rooch.
“I’m contracted for two years … I do (want to stay).
“That’s just Charlie (Cameron) being a bit sneaky over there I think.”
Brad Crouch has been the talking point more recently, with Tim Watson reporting on SEN Breakfast that he is “very close” to agreeing to join the Suns.
However, Smith just spent a flight from Melbourne to Adelaide with Crouch, who apparently says he’s not aware of any Gold Coast situation.
“As far as he’s saying, he hasn’t heard anything about that and they’re just rumours,” he said.
“He’s still contracted so unless anything changes, he’ll be at the Crows.”
