A second Victorian club has reportedly joined the race for wantaway Fremantle wingman Brad Hill.
According to Perth Now, Geelong is now in the mix for Hill's signature who nominated St Kilda as his preferred destination.
Talks between the Dockers and the Saints hit an impasse last week when the latter traded its first-round selection – pick No.6 – to GWS for picks 12 and 18.
It’s understood Freo demanded St Kilda’s first-round pick, it’s future first-rounder and a third-round pick for Hill, who is contracted for another two years.
The report indicates Fremantle is interested in Geelong midfielder Sam Menegola.
Menegola is from Western Australia and spent three years at Fremantle before he was delisted at the end of 2014.
Geelong hold picks 14, 17, 24, 36, 37, 93 in the 2019 draft.
