Report: Swans to sign Lions small forward

2019-10-14T09:14+11:00

Out of favour Brisbane small forward Lewis Taylor is set to put pen to paper on a three year deal at Sydney according to the Herald Sun's Jay Clark.

The 2014 rising star winner was expected to find a new home after exploring his options this trade period with the Swans all but certain to come up trumps.

It is believed the deal will be the circuit breaker for the club to release Tom Papley to Carlton with Taylor a direct replacement.

The deal may also see the Joe Daniher trade fast tracked with Essendon and Sydney still currently at a stalemate.

Taylor was drafted by the Lions with Pick 28 in the 2013 National National Draft and only managed five games in 2019.
