Collingwood has brought in some ruck support for Brodie Grundy, trading for Sydney’s Darcy Cameron.
The 24-year-old joins the Pies in exchange for pick 56, but get back 62. This means they only slide back six spots in the draft to pick up the ruckman.
He has played one career game, facing Gold Coast back in 2018.
The Pies are expected to be reasonably quiet in this trade period, dealing with a salary cap squeeze.
Sydney meanwhile will be busy tomorrow, wanting to bring in Joe Daniher, while Tom Papley and Zak Jones have requested moves to Victoria.
"He's a nice back up ruckman, it's a tick for him to extend his career and a tick for Collingwood to have him there"
