Tom Phillips will remain at Collingwood after speculation he might find his name on the trade table to make room in the Magpies salary cap according The Age.
Phillips did not express any desire to leave the Magpies after signing a three year contract extension earlier this year.
The 23-year-old running machine averaged nearly 24 disposals a game in 2019 and finished seventh in the Magpies best and fairest.
Meanwhile, Matthew Scharenberg and Rupert Wills also look set to remain at the Holden Centre in 2020 after attracting interest from other clubs.
