North Melbourne has today announced that Ben Amarfio will be the club’s new chief executive officer.
Amarfio has had previous experience at Cricket Australia, the AFL and Southern Cross Austereo.
"2019 was a period of significant change for our club, and now we look to the future with great optimism and excitement with Ben Amarfio at the helm," Kangaroos chairman Ben Buckley told nmfc.com.au.
“We firmly believe Ben’s expertise and business acumen will help take our club forward in leaps and bounds.
"Under our new leadership structure, which also includes Rhyce Shaw and Brady Rawlings, we have a renewed focus and energy driving us into the future.
“Ben has held positions at some of the highest profile and most dynamic, global sporting organisations in the world and will be a tremendous asset to us."
Amarfio will take over from Carl Dilena who vacated the CEO role after the 2019 season.
