Port Adelaide and Brisbane have engaged in a daring pick-swap, which sees the Power hand over their future first-round selection.
They have sent it alongside picks 29 and 71 in exchange for picks 16, 52, 55 and 72.
This is the second time in two years the Lions have traded their first-round pick for another team’s future first.
It worked out massively last year as part of a big swap with Gold Coast.
For the Power, this helps them gather mid-round picks as part of their plan to select father-son prospect Jackson Mead.
