Will Brown has officially been crowned the inaugural TCR Australia Series winner at the final round for the brand new category at The Bend Motorsport Park last weekend. Brown secured the championship at Sandown in September where he was also competing in the inaugural S5000 round.

The 21-year-old has been racing a Hyundai i30N TCR alongside his Supercars co-driving duties with Erebus in Anton de Pasquale's #99 Penrite Racing ZB Commodore and a Super2 Series drive with Eggleston Motorsport.

"I'd jump in a lawnmower and race that if I could!" Brown told The Driver's Seat earlier in the season when asked about all the categories he particpates in

The 2019 TCR Australia Champion is also a former Formula 4 and Toyota 86 series winner and finished a respectable second in Race 28 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship this year - behind three time champion Craig Lowndes and ahead of three time Bathurst winner Garth Tander

Will Brown will be in action again this weekend at the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 as he looks to finish off his 2019 Super2 campaign strongly
