Carlton officially confirms the four players vying for final list spot

2020-02-14T14:08+11:00

The Blues have revealed a fourth player training with the club in a bid to earn the last spot on their list via the Supplemental Selection Period.

Carlton confirmed delisted Tiger Callum Moore and undrafted defender Ryan Strugess would join cut Bulldog Lukas Webb training at the club, but they won’t be alone.

Ex Geelong midfielder Joran Cunico trained with the club on Friday in his own tryout.

Cunico has signed on to play with Carlton’s VFL side the Northern Blues for the 2020 season and provides outside run and carry.

“We’ve got four players who are going to be training with the group to put their best foot forward for that last list spot,” New Carlton head of list management and recruiting Nick Austin told the Carlton website.

“They’re very different players with different skills.”

First round draft pick Brodie Kemp has been moved to the long term injury list as he recovers from a torn ACL and this is why Carlton has the list vacancy.
