Team LeBron has defeated Team Giannis 157-155 in an entertaining NBA All-Star Game at United Center in Chicago.
It’s the third straight year James has led his team to victory in the All-Star game with an Anthony Davis free throw deciding the match. The final quarter was decided in a "first to 24" tweak to the rules in honour of the late Kobe Bryant.
Davis missed the first attempt but drained the second to complete the comeback after Team LeBron trailed by nine points heading into the final quarter.
30 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals saw Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard win the first Kobe Bryant MVP Award.
"It means a lot to me. This one's for him," Leonard said post-game, paying tribute to the Lakers great.
It adds to Leonard’s already impressive CV that includes two NBA championships, two Finals MVPs and two Defensive Player of the Year awards
James was also impressive with 23 points, six assists, five rebounds, two blocks and one steal.
