Lukas Webb has suffered a setback in his attempt to earn a spot on Carlton’s list for the 2020 season.
The delisted Dog tore his hamstring late in the club’s practice match against Collingwood last Thursday, with the club believing the injury to be significant.
He has been training with the club since before the 2019 National Draft.
Carlton has a free spot on its list following the move of Brodie Kemp to their long-term injury list as he continues his rehab from a torn ACL.
The Blues have another three players vying for the position, including former Tiger Callum Moore, former Cat Jordan Cunico (who has signed with Carlton’s VFL team) and undrafted defender Ryan Sturgess.
Webb was delisted by the Bulldogs following a tumultuous few years where he suffered a broken neck and a broken leg.
